Trey Gowdy Epic Speech Blasts President Barack Obama ENFORCE the Law Act South Carolina Representative Trey Gowdy has a history of embarassing witnesses who refuse to be forthright on serious issues. Yesterday’s hearing, “The President’s Constitutional Duty to Faithfully Execute the Laws” was no exception.
Gowdy embarasses the stammering witness with one simple question: If the president can ignore provisions of immigration law, marijuana law, mandatory minimum sentencing law, and the “Affordable Care Act,” then what prevents the president from ignoring election laws?
The witness Simon Lazarus was unable to satisfactorily answer Gowdy’s pointed question, so he turned to nationally recognized scholar Jonathan Turley. He was “not sure” what the Congressional remedy was for the president’s failure and refusal to enforce duly passed laws. Professor Turley then called the escalating problem, “The most serious Constitutional crisis, view, in my lifetime.” Benghazi Attack, Lynn Westmoreland Hillary Clinton, Lynn Westmoreland, Benghazi Libya Attack, Trey Gowdy Benghazi Nyt, Lynn Westmoreland Benghazi, Hillary Clinton Nyt 2016, Hillary Clinton Benghazi, Benghazi 2012, Trey Gowdy Benghazi Al-Qaida, HuffPolitics Blog, Video, Lynn Westmoreland Benghazi Nyt, New York Times Benghazi Investigation, South Carolina, Trey Gowdy Benghazi, Trey Gowdy Hillary Clinton, Trey Gowdy Benghazi Report, Hillary Clinton, Trey-Gowdy-South-Carolina, Trey Gowdy, Politics News Obamacare, Trey Gowdy Obamacare, Kathleen Sebelius, Trey Gowdy Megyn Kelly, Health Care Reform, Trey Gowdy Kathleen Sebelius, Megyn Kelly, Trey Gowdy, Health Care, Trey Gowdy Health Care, Trey Gowdy Obama, Trey Gowdy Fox News, Politics News Faithul Execution of the Law Act House Gop Immigration Reform Latino Politics Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Immigration Obama Deferred Action ENFORCE Act House Gop Immigration Immigration Reform House Republicans Immigration Reform Latino Politics Obama Overreach House Republicans Immigration Obama Deportations Daca Politics News
